Does chlorine dioxide (MMS) have the potential for the elimination of symptoms of disease? According to an FDA report published in 2019, chlorine dioxide, also known as MMS, should not be consumed. According to the article, chlorine dioxide is a strong bleaching chemical, an active ingredient in disinfectants, and an industrial substance. It is not meant to be swallowed. Lemon juice, vinegar, and even sunlight can be used as bleaches and disinfectants in industrial settings, so this warning is meaningless. So, the question remains: is MMS a powerful health-promoting agent, an industrial cleaning chemical… or both?
CHLORINE DIOXIDE (MMS) – WHAT IS IT?
Paris Humble’s father, Jim Humble, nicknamed chlorine dioxide Master Mineral Solution or MMS, a chemical compound that deactivates poisons and pathogens. When sodium chlorite and food-grade acid are combined, chlorine dioxide is formed. The two components are kept separate and combined just before use. Jim Humble’s experiences and findings are spelled out in his book, The Master Mineral Solution of the Third Millennium.
MMS has been used for decades as a water purification and disinfectant solution. In 1996, Paris recalls her father’s discovery that MMS can be safely used internally to treat malaria.
After he popularized MMS for other illnesses and ailments, there are thousands of testimonials from people who have used it for:
- Inflammatory arthritis

- Infections caused by bacteria (UTIs, sinus infections, antibiotic-resistant infections, etc.).

CHLORINE DIOXIDE (MMS): HOW DOES IT WORK?

In every food processing plant and commercial kitchen, chlorine dioxide is used to keep food safe. It is FDA-approved for these applications.
The American Society of Analytical Chemists declared over 20 years ago that “Chlorine Dioxide is the most powerful pathogen killer known to man,” and it still holds true today. It destroys viruses, bacteria, heavy metals, etc.
“MMS does not heal anything. All it does is eliminate pathogens and oxidize poisons, restoring the body’s natural ability to heal.”
Paris’ book has a chapter dedicated to using chlorine dioxide to treat pets and animals.
NEUTRALIZE ROUND-UP AND OTHER POISONS
The WestonPrice.org article by Stephanie Seneff explores the potential health benefits of chlorine dioxide. According to Seneff, chlorine dioxide can break down glyphosate, the toxic poison found in Round-Up. This toxic substance is linked to cancer, autism, and other chronic and acute diseases. According to Seneff, immune cells naturally produce chlorine dioxide to fight pathogens. Chlorine dioxide makes the immune system more effective in fighting pathogens in the gut.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR START-UP AND ACTIVATION?
The second chapter of Paris Humble’s book explains how to start and activate the ingredients to make chlorine dioxide as well as how to use chlorine dioxide phases or protocols. The two liquid components of chlorine dioxide are sodium chlorite (called the “mineral solution”) and liquid food-grade acid (called the “activator solution”).
Using ingredients readily available over the counter as water purification drops in a two-part kit, chlorine dioxide can be made by mixing one drop of Part 1 (28% sodium chlorite) with one drop of Part 2 (50% citric acid) and allowing it to activate for 30 seconds, creating one drop of chlorine dioxide.
Start with one drop or less of chlorine dioxide in four ounces or more of pure or preferably distilled water and work up to the recommended dosage appropriate to the phase being reached.
SIDE EFFECTS?
If you feel ill, Paris recommends cutting the dose in half and trying again if you do not feel well. If you take too many drops, you may experience negative reactions (such as vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, and exhaustion). If the half-dose is intolerable, cut it in half again, adjust the number of drops until it is tolerable, and then increase the number of drops as necessary.
Paris explains that natural alternative specialists recognize this as a Herxheimer reaction.
A poisonous residue is left behind by pathogens that need time to be eliminated by your body if they are being eradicated from your body. The body is working hard to eliminate the pathogens’ waste material, so attacking too many pathogens too quickly can result in toxic residue that can cause negative side effects.
THE SOURCE OF DISEASE MUST BE ELIMINATED
According to Wayne Rowland, all diseases can be traced back to harmful microorganisms in the body. As a medical intuitive, he discovered that the majority of afflictions he encountered were caused by parasites like worms and destructive bacteria. The most dangerous of these are pathogenic spirochetes, which have been found to be responsible for many misdiagnosed illnesses today.
To combat these pathogens, Rowland developed a colloidal silver water in his factory using Tesla lightning. He recommends starting with a deworming treatment using his silver water before addressing any major or chronic disease. If symptoms persist, he advises combining his silver water with chlorine dioxide until complete recovery is achieved.
CHLORINE DIOXIDE LONG-TERM USE
It is considered a standard maintenance dose to take five drops in four or more ounces of distilled water every day. As a preventative measure against unwanted exposure, those concerned about being around other people in public places, especially during the pandemic, take the maintenance dose before leaving home and again upon returning.
